Jeju Island Ceremonial Matcha

From the fertile volcanic soil of Mount Halla of Jeju Island, South Korea, the D&R Ceremonial Matcha is the perfect matcha for any special occasions. This matcha is ceremonial grade, which can be used in Japanese tea ceremony (also known as chado). It is harvested from whole leaf green tea before Ipha (the first day of the summer). The leaves are partially shaded for 2 weeks before harvest, then steam heated, rolled, dried and ceramic ball milled. This is just pure matcha with no fillers nor additives added. After all, something this precious can be wonderful and tasty just by itself.
NOTE: Over-steeping or over-temperature will result in bitterness and a less balanced flavour.
