From the fertile and hilly soils of Japan emerges the D&R Ceremonial Matcha, a testament to excellence for your most cherished occasions. This exquisite, organic matcha boasts a ceremonial grade, the pinnacle of matcha quality. 
 
Reverently employed in Japanese tea ceremonies, or "chado", it is culled from whole leaf green tea prior to "Ipha" (the inaugural day of summer). Two weeks of partial shading precede its harvest, after which it undergoes meticulous steam heating, rolling, drying, and ceramic ball milling. This is unadulterated matcha, untouched by fillers or additives. Indeed, such a treasured delight stands resplendent and flavorful in its unembellished purity.
 
NOTE: Over-steeping or over-temperature will result in bitterness and a less balanced flavour.
